Ian was a footballer before turning his skills 
into television presenting.  He was awarded the

in June 2009.  Ile is a Romanian tennis player
with 88 career titles to his name.  He was one of
the best players in the world in the 1970's.

I met Jeremy at the tennis in Nottingam in 2010.  He is a former

British Number One.  He won two Grand Slam Doubles titles including

the mixed doubles at Wimbledon in 1987.

Martina is a Swiss tennis player, who won five
grand slam womens titles and ten grand slam
doubles titles, before she retired aged in 2007.

in June 2009.  Richard is a Dutch tennis player 
with 17 career titles to his name, including
Wimbledon in 1996.

Roger Bannister - Wikipedia

 

I got this through the mail in November 2009.  Roger
was the first athlete to break the four minute mile in
May 1954 in Oxford. He was awarded the CBE in 1975
and later went on to become the first chairman of the
Sports Council.  He also introduced numerous training
techniques following his retirement from running.

I got this through the post in July 2009.  Steve is
a British olympic athlete who has won five gold
medals for rowing.

I got this throught the post in January 2010.  
Sir Stirling Moss OBE is a retired racing driver.  
Arguably Britains finest.  He raced in the 1940'2, 50's 
and 60's and won over 200 races, including 16 F1
Grand Prix.

Younes El Aynaoui - Wikipedia

who won five career titles.
